Obstetrics and Gynecology

Introduction:
Gynecology and its related surgery deal directly with diseases and conditions of the female reproductive organs. Problems such as abnormal menstrual bleeding, infections, and growths or tumors are the specialty of the Gynecologist. Some of these problems can prevent the conception and carrying of children and can be surgically corrected.
Al Salam International Hospital consultants are dedicated to offering their patients optimum treatment for these conditions, in pleasant and reassuring surroundings. Much of the latest technology, including laparoscopic surgery and laser surgery, are utilized to treat surgical gynecology conditions.

Obstetrics
The Obstetrician is dedicated to providing the highest standard of antenatal care and support, leading to a safe and successful delivery for the mothers in Al Salam International Hospital. Our Consultants are highly trained to offer normal antenatal care, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of the complications of pregnancy and monitoring of the health of the fetus. Delivery planning is also important to our mothers, ensuring that all goes smoothly, for example with pain control being planned in accordance with the wishes of the mother. Some pregnancies are deemed “High Risk” requiring an even higher degree of specialized monitoring, and the latest equipment is available to Al Salam International Hospital physicians (including obstetric ultrasonography) to provide the finest care possible for all mothers and their babies.
